Maria Södermark & Kauri Honkakoski
In this workshop we will expand our physical theatre skills by exploring the articulation of movement and its possibilities. We will also explore movement material from KHC’s upcoming ensemble production.
The workshop is taught by visiting pedagogue Maria Södermark from Sweden, together with Kauri Honkakoski. The Company’s performers will participate in the workshop.
Maria Södermark (she/her) studied Corporeal Mime at Centro MOVEO in Barcelona and has worked as a performer at MOVEO Company, among others. In addition to mime, she has a training background in dance. Maria co-organizes GBG Mime Fest, a performing arts festival that focuses on work within the expression of mime.
